Our Talent

Lilian Shea, Esq.

Lilian Shea is originally from Argentina. In 1992 she graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, School of Law. She was later on sworn in as an attorney. She immigrated to the United States where in the year 2000 she finished her studies in Master of Law in Comparative Law at the University of San Diego. Lilian was then admitted to the practice law in the State of California which is arguably the hardest Bar Examination in the United States, with only a 41 % percent pass rate, out of which foreign student only have a passing rate of 10%. Lilian moved to Colorado were in 2005 she opened Lilian Shea Law Office. The office became instantly successful due to the type of service and personal attention rendered to each client. The struggles and achievements of Lilian Shea were so impressive in both her personal and professional lives that her story became front page news in the local magazine The Westword.

After the rare endorsement of two Denver County Court Judges (Raymond N. Satter and Kathleen M. Bowers), Lilian Shea was invited by the Lawyer and Notary College of the Country of Guatemala to give an immigration class to the Supreme Court Judges of Guatemala. The endorsement were rare as the ethical rules surrounding endorsement by those in judgeships often times preclude judges from giving recommendations such as the ones they gave. The law office represents hundreds of Argentineans, especially polo players. Lilian’s advice on visas for polo players was sought out by the official publication of the U.S. Polo Association in June 2007, wherein she was published discussing changes in visa laws and how they affect foreign players and grooms.
